Train can’t climb

Today I went to the East Canyon Road race, one of my favs. It started out pretty fast, lots of dumb attacks that everyone chased. I just chilled and waited for the right move to develop. I saw it and I went. I guess I was not hydrated properly since I was fighting cramps before we even got to the turn around. WTF? Anyway I sat on and drank as much as I could and then would pull through when I was feeling spry knowing what was waiting. Sure enough as soon as the attacks started on the climb I was popped. Nothing to do but ride steady and hope I made it to the finish before the field caught me. Since I got dropped I don’t really know what happened at the front but I heard one of the dudes from the Senile Developmentally Challenged Team (the one sitting on the back with me I think) won. I limped in for 9th ahead of the field.

With 4 of them in the field, it was almost a given that one of them would win …

Normally I’d say the Bryson is a worthy winner; were his teammates working while he was saving energy? Or were all four of them sucking wheels in the break?

I never said the winner was not worthy.
