The drive was good
I am not setting any record for speed on this trip. In Nebraska I stopped at Cabelas for a few hours. I could really do some damage with the credit card at that place. I camped at a state park right on a lake that night. The next day I made it to just outside of St. Louis. Missouri is an interesting place. It seemed like every exit had an adult XXX superstore which was weird because over half the radio stations I picked up were Jesus channels. real fire and brimstone type stuff. I stopped and got a hotel and went out for a ride and promptly got lost. I had planned to go for about an hour so I only had one bottle and no money or food. 3 hours later and about an hour after it got dark I rolled into the parking lot. I am not a smart man.
Yesterday I stopped at the Superman museum in Metroplolis, IL. Hopefully tonight I can post some photos.
