Hola amigos… Yeah I have been underground. Funny the way things work out. Things you said you would never do again get done. People you thought you could could count on you can’t, while others step up and take on more than you would ever dare ask. Ebb flow… It would be nice if you could will things to happen the way you want, but the reality is sometimes you can’t no matter how bad you want to. Anyway I have some much needed clarity and I think I am on track. Whatever that means.

The blog. I hope to keep writing, I hope people keep reading. Thank you to everyone who reads and thank you to everyone who comments.

Got the new Scalpel on Friday. Spent the weekend dialing in my position and riding on pavement while the rest of the lads were hogging all the podium spots in St. George. I am stoked to race in the dirt this year. Pro or Master? Hmmm…

It sounds like I have my strong willed son back and on track. What a relief. Maybe my prayers have worked! Artie’s friends might be interested to know I am getting a moutain bike(don’t expect to ever come close to racing him) but he has me on a training program on my stationary bike. I ride 40 mintues a day for 6 days and lift weights every other day according to Artie’s directions. Who knows maybe I will be on the senior circle???? Anyway I have rambled on enough about myself and thank whoever helped him through this rough patch on his life.

Race master’s and then see how many pro’s you can catch in Ed’s races. The problem with having a pro/semi license is that you can’t race masters at MTB nationals. Since Ed’s races aren’t USCF, you should be able to race pro in those races and still race your age at NORBAs and Nationals. The other benefit is I don’t have to race against you locally.

Art, do us “true” Masters a favor and race local Pro cat. It’s hard enough taking on the mortals in the Masters class! We don’t need you bitchslappin’ us all over the course while we suffer to stay ahead of the women’s class. I was going to race mtb this season, but if your lining up next to me….I’ll head back to the moto-x track with DW. Lemme know what you decide so I can decide which toy to reach for (the skis or the bike). Thnk, g

With your “affiliation” to the two other Utah dopers, could race under the “microscope?” Doctor Ferrari… er, Miller has a performance enhancing program for you. It’s OK, you know that guy!
