What a blast! Mr brewer, (ahh, andy, how is your wife?) scott lung, Steve Johnson. What was the cop trustfunder's name up at alta? Chris somethingorother. I think it was synonimous for ski all winter, ride at altitude and stomp ass all summer. I remember living next to steve J on wilson ave.(circa 1988) The first time I met him he was spraying off his custom stout in the front yard with a garden hose. I remember thinking who is this guy? What kind of dude hoses down a fine ride like that with a hose? The kind of guy who won the masters world criterium championship, and on that bike. Intervals by the "U" up by the shore line trail, that 30 second catch up game? out around the airport with John and the wild rose gang. I was and am still such a hapless chump. 18 years and still hammering, you are an inspiration to us all, hell, you got me thinking I might even race again someday. Super D of course. That's my niche, just like old times, making an appearance and a lackluster showing. Ahhh, the GOOD ol' days And the drinking.
