Wake Up, Kick Ass, Repeat

Lack of Direction

Man, I don’t know what is going to happen with my race season. Training has been decidedly un Big Ring as of late. My tenants decided to move back to the trailer park in Idaho without telling (or paying rent for March) me. That equates to a lot of work for me (and Rachel) to clean it up and get it ready to rent and that equates to no bike time for me. Oh well, that is what I signed on for when I bought a rental property and added the title landlord. Anyway back to the race season. As far as the ICUP races, given my lack of miles (and abundance of weight), I think I will be racing 40+ Expert. Also I am a cheap bastard and I don’t want to pay an extra $10 to race “Pro”, I can go ride another lap for free if I really want to. Road, who knows? I still have not gotten around to taking the knobbies off, I might keep them on for Hell of the North. Hell, I might just keep ‘em on all season. A cross bike will soon be overkill anyway on the Shoreline Trail if they continue dumbing it down at the current rate.

I’m assuming this is the “other” tenants, and not the ones sharing the building, correct?

Its called life, hang in there. Sometimes everything goes as planned, sometimes it takes a shit on you. You got too many positive things in your life to measure it on race results.

Thought I’d set a few things straight. Art and Mr. Wood rode with me Sunday. Both complain they are soooo out of shape. Art still has a six pack despite phantom weight gain. D and A of course ripped my legs off our entire awesome 2+ hour Shoreline ride. I may be a girl, but I am pretty fast, and they still slaughter me. As for the house, ripping out carpet, salvaging the landscaped, painting. Hmmmm…I’ll call that weight training/building race appetite. Worst case scenario,at least we won’t be over trained!

Get off your ass and on the bike. Not that you would, but I need someone bringing up the tail end of the RMR with me…not to mention losing the 10 lbs I’ve somehow managed to put in in the last year.
