Kick Ass

Well another B-Day in the books. Started the day early watching Rachel kick ass at XTerra. I think I need to do one of these next year. I have all winter to work on my swim and hopefully I will get my back figured out so i can do some running. It was a pretty cool scene compared with the road tri’s I have been to. The XTerra scene does not have than slave to the HR monitor, training log, diet freak, tool squeezer obsessive vibe. Anyway it looked like fun and Rachel did an awesome job. I posted some pics from the Help Marty Ride and XTerra here.

My friend Abby (who won the Snowbird Hill Climb earlier in the day) had a back to school/birthday party last night. I had a really good time eating cake, drinking car bombs and generally whooping it up. I wish Snake had been there I would have shown him how to HTFU, such a lightweight. BTW if you wanna read some funny shit take a peek at Snake’s Leadville Race Report. He comes across all hard but I know better, I knew him back when he was playing womens basketball at the U and eating Smith’s chocolate chip cookies by the box.

Hey Big Fella
Happy B’Day wish I could have been there. SLC still is my fav place.
Read about your back problems. I have had some serious prbs this year after all the punishment it has held up through the years.
I went back to basics and after about 2 months of core exercises and stretching. It seems to be coming good. I too had to sit down to put my shoes on, couldnt walk up stairs and even to lie down hurt. So get plenty of Ibuprofen for the pain and start stretching and working on your core.
Cheers G
