Here are some cross training tips:

1. Go beat the crap out of yourself with a bat for one hour.
2. Hike from the Cliff Lodge to the tram straight up as fast as you can - meaning run where possible.
3. Drink a lot the night before you do 1 and 2.
4. Practice beer hand ups at finish lines. (Art will gladly be your practice mate)
5. Crash your bike a lot and break things but don't break yourself. (this one is key for cross)
6. Practice changing out wheels as fast as you can for your flats.
7. Don't forget your costumes for cheering and/or racing.

That's all I've got for now. More to come later.

I feel you on the cop thing, dont get me started. Hope the wrist doesnt put a damper on the "Summer of Art". I got so much going on myself I dont know how much more bike racing I can get in this summer. May do one more then wait for cross season. Maybe you can help me out when the time comes with some training tips.
